UK Class Association Update

UK Class Association Update

Hi Gang,

I hope all’s well? It’s been a little while since I’ve written, but I’ve a few bits and bobs to update you on for up coming events. But firstly, a big congratulations to Jerry Hill and his not so sad or old crew on “3 Sad Old Blokes” for their spectacular win at the VW Touareg UK Nationals! Top work!

English Titles – Royal Torbay Yacht Club (4th – 6th July 2008)

This event is a 3 day event, however, the first start on Friday 4th July is not scheduled until 1pm so there is plenty of time for an early departure from your home ports to arrive and rig in time for racing, so only one day out of the office (I imagine that if you were planning on racing in Torquay for the weekend you’d probably leave work early on Friday to get the boat ready anyway!). Torquay and Falmouth are really growing their fleets so it would be great to see a stack of support from the rest of the country for this event and show the new West Country owners what big fleet racing in the SB3 is all about!

Because the Royal Torbay YC are SUCH an accommodating club they have said that if it would encourage entrants, they will run a 2 day (Sat & Sun) championship within the English Titles if it will encourage more entrants. Please support this event and enter early (i.e. NOW!) Link to entry details below:
