IP Office SB20 UK National Championships – pre arrival information
Not long now until the first National Championships of the newly named and relaunched SB20 Class. Don’t know about you lot, but I’m really looking forward to it! 39 boats already entered and there are still a few names of a few likely lads/lasses missing!
So there is a severe weather warning in the South West of England at the moment, and there’s 45 knots of wind due to buffet the coastline over night and into Friday morning….so hopefully summer will have returned by next Wednesday!! It’s always best to be positive, right?
Our buddies at Sportsboat World have sent the following message:
Sportsboat World are coming to the Nationals with van and rib. Alan will be on hand to help. Can anyone who needs spares let us know so that they can be brought down – we are now fully stocked with sails so can bring down any new sails that people need.
New class legal Velocitiks also in stock for those that need one – for those that have bought one please attach a small safety lanyard. Jerry knocked his overboard at the weekend, the good news is it floats, the bad news is it is time consuming going back to get it half way up the first beat!
Get in touch with Alan if there is anything you know you are going to need! email@example.com.
And the organisers at WPNSA have provided the attached Programme and General Information document. PLEASE print a copy of this, read it, and bring it with you! It will save you loads of time and hassle if you are up to speed before you arrive.
Three final requests:
Request number 1:
Please don’t attempt to arrive at WPNSA with your SB20 before Sunday 10th June….under any circumstances….they’ve got a small event called “Sail For Gold” going on at the moment, so their just a bit busy! Got it? Cool! Thank you!
Request number 2:
Please make sure you are a member of the class in time for the Nationals. It’s fine to arrange your membership at registration, but even better if you can arrive with the paperwork below filled in and a cheque signed! Got it? Cool! Thank you!
Request number 3:
If you haven’t entered yet, and you’re planning on doing so, it would be great if you could get your entry in as a priority! Follow the link here to enter. Got it? Cool! Thank you!
Looking forward to seeing you all soon!
