Entries open for 2013 Vice Admirals Cup
The Royal Corinthian Yacht Club will host the ninth Vice Admiral’s Cup Regatta from Friday 17th to Sunday 19th May 2013 inclusive. Since its introduction the Vice Admiral’s Cup has gone from strength to strength with it’s close racing format and fun social programmemaking it enjoyable for all competitors
Once again there will be six classes. 44 – 46 foot class, which includes the Farr 45s, DK46s and Swan 45s, bringing us an outstanding spectacle as well as some incredibly close racing. The other regular classes will be the SB20’s, J/109s and the Quarter Ton Class who are continuing to grow in numbers.
This year the 50 – 52 ft Class are returning to the event after a break of a year and will once again race under IRC. Also returning are the J/111 and the SB20’s who will be racing on different courses. The organisers have scheduled racing over the three days with the courses being predominantly laid windward leeward format.
The Club looks forward to welcoming all competitors and following racing on there will be a Musto Competitors Drinks Reception at the Club to enable competitors to discuss the days racing while enjoying the panoramic view across the Solent.
On the Saturday evening there will be a two-course steak barbeque supper at a cost of £16 pp. Tickets should be reserved at the time of entry.
