Dutch Nationals next month on the North Sea Regatta
The Delta Lloyd North Sea Regatta (NSR) is the largest Dutch sailing event held annually on the North Sea at Scheveningen, close to The Hague. It traditionally takes place over the Whitsun holiday weekend, and the dates this year are Friday 6th to Monday 9th June.
Over the Whitsun weekend about 25 classes race off the Scheveningen coast, including SB20s as well as super yachts, Olympic classes, open boats and surfers. Apart from being well-known for its competitive racing, the Delta Lloyd North Sea Regatta is also known for its side events in the harbour, including the aptly named North Sea Kitchen where various top Dutch chefs will present their culinary delights. In the evening various live performances and concerts will take place with a full schedule of bands and live music.
The Dutch SB20 fleet would like to welcome the foreign fleets to enjoy some competitive racing and good Dutch hospitality! Including drinks on the pontoon. Notably the event is easily accessible for anyone located in South-Eastern England via the Harwich to Hook van Holland ferry terminal (20 minutes) or the Channel Tunnel (approx. 3.5 hours).
